Full programme statement

This site is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

How this works

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a qualifying product, we may receive a commission. The price you pay is identical — the commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not yours.

Commission rates do not influence any ranking. Match scores are computed from your quiz answers and our published specification ratings alone. A product paying us more is never scored higher.

Why we never print a price

Amazon's Associates Program Policies allow a site to display prices and availability only when Amazon serves them — either inside an Amazon-served link, or through Amazon's own product API (Creators API or PA API). Static figures typed in by hand do not qualify.

So we do not print them. Instead, each product shows a price tier — Entry, Budget, Mid or Premium — and every button takes you to that product's own Amazon listing, where the live price, current configuration options and stock status are shown. If a price anywhere on Amazon differs from what you expected, the listing is the correct version.

Phrases like "under $400" in our article titles describe the budget band a reader is shopping in. They are not a quote of any product's price.

Commission rates

Home office and ergonomic equipment sits in Amazon's Furniture, Home and Home Improvement categories, currently paying 3% as a standard advertising fee. Rates are set by Amazon and change periodically — this page reflects rates as of October 2026. The authoritative figure is always the Standard Commission Income Statement inside your own Associates Central account.

What changed in April 2026

Since 14 April 2026 Amazon calculates onsite commission only against the exact ASIN variant we linked to. Purchases of a different product in the same session no longer earn a commission. Every link on this site therefore points at the specific product being discussed, never a category or search page.

Amazon also expanded its exclusion of traffic from paid and boosted advertising. Purchases referred through paid promotion do not qualify for commission.

How we edit

Ratings come from published manufacturer specifications and category norms, verified as of the date shown. We do not accept payment for placement, and we do not publish manufacturer copy as our own analysis. Where a product's stated specification is disputed by owners, we say so rather than repeat the claim.
